Broad Spectrum Endectocide for injection
COMPOSITION: Each 1 ml. contains:
Ivermectin 10 mg.
Rafoxanide 125 mg.
PROPERTIES AND INDICATIONS:
RAMECTIN (Ivermectin & Rafoxanide) is an injectable Endecto-parasiticide for cattle and sheep.
Single low-volume dose kills internal parasites (including liver fluke) and external parasites. Ivermectin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitc agent, which is effective against internal and external parasites. Rafoxanide is active against immature and adult liver flukes and some internal and external parasites.
INDICATED:
for effective treatment and control of the following parasites in:
Cattle:
Gastrointestinal round worms, Lungworms, liver fluke, Skin worms, Eye worms, Cattle Grubs, Mange Mites, Sucking Lice,
Screwworm Fly, Sand Fly Tampans & ticks.
Sheep:
Gastrointestinal round worms, Lungworms, liver fluke, Nasal Bot and Mites.
In case of heavy infestations a second dose 7 days after the first injection is required.
DIRECTIONS FOR ADMINISTRATION:
Ramectin should only be administered subcutaneously.
Recommended injection site and method:
DOSAGE:
Cattle:
1 ml per 50 kg body weight
Choose the dose according to weight of the heaviest animals.
Heavier animals (e.g., Mature bulls) should receive an additional 1 ml for each 50 kg over 600 kg.
Sheep:
0.5 ml per 25 kg body weight
Choose the dose according to weight of the heaviest animals.
Heavier animals should receive an additional 0.5 ml for each 25 kg over 100 kg.
• Check the accuracy of injection gun before use.
WITHDRAWL PERIOD:
– Cattle and sheep must not be treated within 50 days of slaughtering for human consumption.
– Should not be used in Lactating cattle and sheep for human consumption.
STORAGE:
Store at a temperature below 30º C.
PACKAGE:
10 ml, 20 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml amber glass bottles as a sterile injectable solution.
