For the provision of a supplementary source of Calcium to cows
Indications
- Contains 50 grams of rapidly available calcium. This supports calcium absorption and metabolism in the cow at calving.
- Contains a source of Anion which suppports:
- Contains Vitamin D3
– Mobilisation of calcium
– Calcium absorption
Product application
At the onset of lactation, the cow requirement for calcium increases significantly. Research indicates that a significant number of older and higher yielding animais suffer from some level of calcium deficiency. Clinical and subclinical calcium deficiency can lead to a number of metabolic problems around calving incuding milk fever, ketosis, retained placenta, poor feed intakes as well as recumbancy.
Feeding Instructions:
Cows: 1 x Cal Plus bottle 6 – 8 hours before calving. (When you see the cow sick to calve)
Note: A second bottle may be fed immediately after calving. *Shake well before use.
Storage Conditions
Store in a dry place (between 5-28“C) in original container. Keep out of direct sun light. Do not freeze. Always replace lid after use.
